The Association over the years had developed several manuals regarding Tractor operation. During 2005 a new manual was produced to strengthen employers knowledge of tractor hazards and assist in establishing their workplace training program for tractor operation. Incidents involving tractors are still the single most hazardous and tragic in the farm workplace and account for more than 30% of the farm workplace fatalities. Many of these incidents could be avoided if parents and employers properly trained and supervised their family members and workers on safe operations of tractors.
